Ladies and Gentleman, please meet BARRIE TURNER, who I  like to call “THE BERNIE MADOFF of the Internet Dating World!!!!!”

So, this all started in December of 2008. I had been single for over a year and was finally ready to hit the dating world. I decided instead of relying on my looks and charm to meet people in public I would pay a service to “weed out” the bad guys and simply do the work for me, as I am VERY busy!

That’s when I came across a site called “Executive Dating”. Executive Dating seemed legit. I read articles about it, one in particular from the San Francisco Chronicle saying the company started in 1987 and had a HIGH success rate. Executive Dating had “offices” all around the globe where they specialized in various cities and niche markets, like Executive Dallas Dating, Executive Seattle Dating, Executive Gay Dating, Executive Jewish Dating, Executive Catholic Dating, Executive Vegetarian Dating, hell they even had “Executive blondes who like fried chicken and vodka and live in Los Angeles Dating”……OK the last one was FAKE, but the point is they covered ALL markets, and seemed to be quite successful at it.

So, I called the number for “Executive Retired Pop Stars Dating” aka, Executive Gay Dating and set up a phone meeting. I was then called the following day by Trena Hartman, from Seattle. She was to become my “counselor” aka Patti StangerISH Millionaire Match Maker. This Trena character was fabulous. We must have spoken for over 2 hours about EVERYTHING. Hell, you would have thought it was the Barbara Walter’s 10 most fascinating people interview cause this bitch was pulling out all the questions. The Bottom line is she got to know me and my likes and dislikes and TOTALLY sold me on the idea of joining. So I payed my $1,000 and was signed up for a 6 month membership. This membership included a minimum of 2 “introductions” and a maximum of 7 “introductions” per month. They would create my profile and then the other 20 or so counselors would meet every week to discuss potential matches and set up introductions based on the various clients needs and wants. It was sort of like “trading cards”. She also told me that she would be available to discuss any likes and dislikes with me after the various dates as to make sure I was getting what I wanted out of this and ultimately find me the “perfect” match! She said the company had an 87% success average and that she herself was ABOVE average with a success rate of 93%. I even asked her what they deemed as “success” and she said that anyone they had matched had to be together for at least 2 years to be considered a success. So I was pumped up and ready to be matched!

I sent in my check and patiently waited for my first match that was eventually sent to me about 2 weeks later. I receive the first match and on a scale of 1-10 I would say this guy was a 7.5. Not Brad Pitt but certainly NOT Larry King. I was satisfied enough to send this guy an email to arrange some sortof entree vous. The next day I received a reply from his email which is SHERATON55@gmail.com . The email from “DAVE” said….

“Hi Blair,

It was a pleasant surprise to read your e-mail today and I had enjoyed going over your profile. I think we have a lot in common and that we are a good match. Unfortunately, I just reconnected with an introduction that was introduced to me last month. This just happened a few days ago. At the moment, I think I want to give it a second attempt and see how things develop first. I prefer not to date multiple people at the same time. I hope you understand and I will certainly let you know when I am open to meet with you. Thank you for writing. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

I certainly was NOT going to lose sleep over this and thought nothing of it. I was just ready to receive my next match! Well from then forward I received a total of 8 more matches, well below my minimum of 12 and maximum of 42. And let me tell you, if I thought DAVE was a 7.5, and I was being generous, you should have seen these other guys…….they were all 7’s and BELOW….we are talking TOTAL rejects from The Bachelor. BUT, again, I was told you had to have a certain amount of CLOUT and MONEY to be in this club, so I was willing to give them a chance as you never know how someone would make you feel in person….I mean the BRAIN can be HOT in the right Head!

So over the following months I would politely email the various matches when they were sent to me as I had nothing to lose. But the funny thing was, after the first email from SHERATON55@gmail.com , I NEVER received another ONE from any of the other potential suitors! It would be like a pedifile turning down an email from a 13 year old…..THAT JUST DOESNT HAPPEN. So I was quite shocked that none of these 6’s and 7’s were not even politely emailing me back.

I decided to call TRENA HARTMAN and discuss changing my profile. I thought maybe my opening line of  ”Retired Pop Star looking for Love” was a bit much and perhaps turning off these potential suitors. Well, Miss Trena would NOT return my phone calls or emails and I received the “S.T.” (silent treatment) for months! Time would go by, I would totally forget about it and then every so often it would cross my mind and I would call AGAIN and still NO REPLY! I stared leaving rude voice mails claiming I hired Gloria Alred as my lawyer and I wanted ANSWERS but still to no avail I was SHUT OUT!

Months later, I received a phone call from the US ATTORNEY’S office. I immediately thought SHIT, I made one too many snide remarks about Sarah Palin and now they are AFTER ME! But to my surprise they were calling me in regards to a FEDERAL INVESTIGATION concerning EXECUTIVE DATING. I immediately got out my note cards and tape recorder and felt like I was Julia Roberts sans Denzel Washington in “The Pelican Brief” , this was MAJAH!

Basically a man named Barrie Turner was a COMPLETE FRAUD and started over 200 niche dating sites and had amassed MILLIONS from ripping off thousands of clients from around the world with his FAKE DATING SITES. His so called “offices” from around the country  based on which site you enrolled in you would send you CHECKS to were actually different UPS locations and all the mail was being forwarded to his P.O. Box in Wasilla, Alaska, I mean some tiny ass town on the boarder of Washington State and Canada. He DOES NOT have a staff of hundreds working for him around the country but actually just a couple of low life broads also living in freaking Canada! Between them they would take on more personalities then Sally Fields in “Cybill” and Eddie Murphy in “The Clumps” and were swindling money from thousands of MEN and WOMEN who were just looking for LOVE!

AND, that email SHERATON55@gmail.com was not only an email from MY “DAVE”, but that email also represented KATIE from UTAH looking for a MORMAN, MIKE from Georgia looking for a Catholic, BIll from Dallas looking for a Vegan, Chantall from Detroit looking for a Baptist etc…….they had this down to a science! The “profiles” they sent me and the thousands of other were actually copy/pasted from other dating sites…..they were literally pulling off  the biggest PONZI SCHEME of the Internet Dating World and I fell for it!!!!!

I am now making it my DUTY to not only tell MY story but help all the thousands of people affected by this seek justice! If only Glenn Close’s character PATYY HEWES from DAMAGES could protect us and help get our money back because that BITCH would rip Barrie Turner and the fake Trena Hartman to shreds!!!!!

ABC was the BIG winner last night in the forever important RATINGS RACE….”Dancing With The Has beens”, was easily on TOP averaging 23 million viewers, just a tad down from last week. CASTLE had its biggest numbers all season with 14.4 million viewers watching Dana Delaney’s guest star Arc. This morning there was even BIGGER news for CASTLE as it was just announced it would be continuing for a THIRD season. Congrats to hottie Nathan Fillion and the rest of the cast and crew!

Auntie Paula is at it AGAIN!!!! Check out this video below where Paula explains that “Women are Calculating” and gives her OWN take on CINDERELLA!!!!! This is BEYOND!

Last night, Miss Carrie Underwood had a special tribute performance show for Robert Allen O’Bleness, who died in a truck accident March 20, he was an employee with Carrie Underwoods tour and has worked for her for quite some time. Listen below, as she sings one of my FAVORITE Carrie songs, “Temporary Home”, and really starts to feel the lyrics too deeply in the end and cannot finish singing…..this girl is the REAL DEAL.
